Doctoral student Aadithya Jeyaranjan was selected to sit on the prestigious ASM International Board of Trustees as a student member. The selection was based on his excellent credentials, leadership experience, knowledge of the field and society.
This unique opportunity will enable him to speak on behalf of students and gain first-hand experience with the issues and matters of the materials science and engineering community as well as network with some of the best leaders in the materials science community.
Student board members are allowed to attend four board meetings. All expenses to attend these meetings are paid for by ASM International.
Jeyaranjan also sits on the local ASM Central Florida chapter board as secretary.
