Professor Yajie Dong received the IDW ’17 Best Paper Award at the 24th International Display Workshops in Sendai, Japan. He was invited to present his paper, “Luminescent Perovskite-Polymer Composite Films for Display.”
The IDW is known for encouraging aggressive research and development of display technologies throughout the world and especially in the Asian region. IDW ’17 focused on five special topics and two topical sessions, which are extremely timely, as well as 13 workshops. The three-day conference featured 393 papers, including three keynote addresses, 125 invited presentations, 124 oral presentations and 141 poster presentations. Poster sessions, author interviews and demonstrations enabled participants to discuss topics in detail. Exhibits by universities and display industry-related businesses were featured in parallel with workshops.
