Professor Swaminathan Rajaraman will join the leadership team of the Multifunctional Integrated System Technology (MIST) Center as a deputy director of the UCF site. The MIST Center was established in 2014 and is a research consortium housed under the Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers program, which is led by the National Science Foundation. MIST is a collaboration among UCF, the University of Florida and the University of Virginia.
MIST focuses on hardware technologies necessary to propel the next generation of smart mobile sensing, computing and communication systems. Its vision is to innovate these technologies for smart systems in an era dominated by the Internet of Things. To learn more about MIST, visit its website.
