In situ TEM observation of a single lithium dendrite growth behavior was performed. Using a conductive AFM (atomic force microscopy) cantilever, the growth force was measured at the same time, and the transition stress at which the dendrite changed its growth direction from vertical to horizontal (with respect to the solid electrolyte surface) was obtained.
