Dr. Jung Han Kim, a former post-doc in Prof. Yeonwoong (Eric) Jung’s group, will join the Department of Materials Science & Engineering at Dong-A University in South Korea as a tenure-track faculty. Dong-A University is a highly prestigious research-oriented private university in Busan, the second-largest city in South Korea.
Dr. Kim worked in Prof. Jung’s lab as a post-doc scholar after obtaining his Ph.D. degree from Seoul National University, the highest university in South Korea. Under the supervision of Prof. Jung, he authored/co-authored about 10 papers with UCF/MSE affiliation including Nano Letters, J. Physical Chemistry, and Scientific Reports. Once establishing his own research lab at Dong-A University, he will continue to collaborate with Prof. Jung with industry/federal funds secured through the Korean government.
