Minh-Chau Le, a senior Mechanical Engineering and MSE minor student, won an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Ms. Le conducted her undergraduate research on breast cancer culture in biomaterial scaffolds in the Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering and Cancer Research Lab, led by Dr. Steve Florczyk. The fellowship provides three years of tuition and stipend to support Ph.D. research. Le will attend the University of Florida to pursue her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in the Fall.
