Three materials science and engineering students won first and second place at the 2018 Graduate Research Forum:
Aadithya Jeyaranjan, mentored by Professor Sudipta Seal, won first place in the Engineering, Computer Science, Simulation, Modeling, Optics, Math and Physical Sciences category. Nileshi Saraf, also mentored by Seal, won second place in the Physical Sciences and Health Sciences category.
Supriya Koul, a student of Akihiro Kushima, won second place, in the Engineering, Computer Science, Simulation, Modeling, Optics, Math and Physical Sciences category.
Jeyaranjan received a cash prize of $1,000 while Saraf and Koul received $500 each. The students also received a presentation fellowship to participate in the statewide Graduate Student Research Symposium at Florida State University.
