Teaching
Professor Banerjee’s teaching portfolio consists of a diverse set of courses – from metallurgical engineering courses to semiconductor processing labs in the Cleanroom. He has taught small graduate classes of 10 students to large undergraduate classes with 150 students. He combines his industrial experience with live demos, simulation and classroom engagement tools and white board notes to provide students fundamental and applied knowledge in materials science and engineering. Students who take his classes consistently give him high ratings. In short, Professor Banerjee is passionate about teaching.
All graduate students in the Banerjee group TA for his courses and actively teach classes using their own lecture notes. Guidance and feedback from Professor Banerjee, help them become great teachers too. Here is a list of classes taught over 14 years at various institutions.
