the banerjeelab@ucf develops new nanomaterials for energy applications at the University of Central Florida, Orlando

Our first thermal atomic layer etching paper is ou Our first thermal atomic layer etching paper is out! We show the power of tandem #spectroscopicellipsometry and #quadrupolemassspectrometry to reveal atomistic etch mechanisms in ZnO films. Thanks to the @jurcalab for the collaboration. Congrats @probablynottj on your 1st, first-author paper.

An excellent wrap-up for the workshop on “Quantu An excellent wrap-up for the workshop on “Quantum Materials and Atomic Layer Processing (ALP)” at TU/e. Great exchange of ideas between Quantum and ALP communities. Thanks to the Plasma Materials and Processing(PMP) Group @tue_research for leading and organizing this.
Thanks Joachim Schnadt for a great time at MaxIV. Thanks Joachim Schnadt for a great time at MaxIV. What an amazing synchrotron facility this is! You have a great team and so much to do at the beamline in ALD. Thanks also to Hendrik Pedersen for a happy surprise ! See you in ALD Korea soon.
Thank you Ruud v Ommen for hosting me at TUDelft a Thank you Ruud v Ommen for hosting me at TUDelft and a wonderful time with your group. So much to do in powder ALD. Lets keep the interaction alive!
I had a fabulous time presenting my talk on “ALD I had a fabulous time presenting my talk on “ALD in situ diagnostics and Machine Learning insights” at CIC Nanogune, San Sebastian. Thanks Mato Knez for the wonderful hosting and some incredible discussions.
It was great to get to know Anjana Devi, Harish Pa It was great to get to know Anjana Devi, Harish Parala and Martin Knaut and the entire staff and team for Solid State Chemistry @Leibniz Institute Dresden. Looking forward to productive interactions in the future!!!
We welcome Professor Joey Talghader from the Unive We welcome Professor Joey Talghader from the University of Minnesota, at UCF. Wonderful talk on IR materials. Thanks for spending time with our young researchers @btcook18 and @luistomar2024
Congratulations @bissell.eric on winning the best Congratulations @bissell.eric on winning the best poster award for “Atomic Layer Deposition on powders for better ceramics”, at the Florida Semiconductor Institute’s 2025 Conference! We are all proud of you!!! fsi.institute.ufl.edu/2025/02/2025...
Had a great time with Ola Nielsen, Evgeniy Redekop Had a great time with Ola Nielsen, Evgeniy Redekop, Henrik Sonsteby, and Pers-Anders Hansen at the University of Oslo. Besides talking about ALD and Catalysis we connected on common friends from our past… What a small world Evgeniy! Once more thanks Ola for making it happen.
Good show at the Florida Semiconductor Summit held Good show at the Florida Semiconductor Summit held in the L3Harris High Technology Center, Palm Bay FL! Our group presented four posters all focused on atomic layer processing of semiconductor materials. Research conducted by @luistomar2024 @bissell.eric @_syam_2u tj_fromstatefarm
Here is the first use notice (F.U.N.) by our Group Here is the first use notice (F.U.N.) by our Group to extract information from our very own paper using DeepSeek. The entire process took less than 10 seconds and we can vouch that it is accurate.
We are staring at a new era in Science.
Congratulations @ayelencarolina for attending the Congratulations @ayelencarolina for attending the #materialzwinterschool camp at the University of Arizona and winning the best poster award! We are all very proud of you. #GOKNIGHTS!
We were so very happy to host Professor Lisa McElw We were so very happy to host Professor Lisa McElwee-White from UF. Together with Professor Jurca @jurcalab we had a great day discussing common areas of research in thin films!
So happy to host local high school STEM teachers f So happy to host local high school STEM teachers from Central Florida counties - Volusia, Seminole and Brevard this Saturday. Great discussions in engagement with our PREM Center. #nsfprem #nsf.
What a roll! Incredibly proud of our undergraduate What a roll! Incredibly proud of our undergraduates Taylor Cook and Luis Tomar (#nsf PREM student) on their poster presentations. Luis bags the best UG poster award for #avs70 !!! Great show by #ucf #ucfcecs #ucfcos (all University of Central Florida) and the REACT cluster. #goknights
We are all at #avs70 ! Alumni and collaborators ap We are all at #avs70 ! Alumni and collaborators aplenty. More to come after today’s poster session. Stay tuned!!!!
We welcomed today Professor Edwin Lundgren from Lu We welcomed today Professor Edwin Lundgren from Lund University in our Lab. Great discussion and looking forward to meeting him again at AVS70 and beyond!
It took over two years to get our powder ALD syste It took over two years to get our powder ALD system from conception to design to a working prototype. @jaynlynn_sosa and Rashi Sharma led the initial design team and today Eric Bissell and Blaine Mauri-Newell got the system to run the first ALD process! Thanks to Office of Research UCF @researchucf for supporting our cause. Our catalysis faculty cluster now possesses the unique capability of coating powders with atomic scale precision.
So happy to welcome and interact with Professor Vo So happy to welcome and interact with Professor Volker Sorger from UF this Friday in our Lab. Semiconductor research is on the march in Florida!
Thanks Professor Pratim Biswas, Dean of Engineerin Thanks Professor Pratim Biswas, Dean of Engineering, @umiamiengineering for visiting ucf and our Lab! It was fun to host you and remembering old times!
