PhD Openings
The lab is still looking for one PhD student to join my lab at the University of Central Florida for Spring 2026.
Interested candidates are welcome to contact me at yuxun.ren@ucf.edu! The application deadline will be July 1st, 2025.
The research topic will be the interdisciplinary research of battery modeling, performance characterizations, and applications of machine learning in system diagnosis. Students with a Materials Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering background are welcome to apply.

English test requirement for international applicants:
- TOEFL iBT score of 80
- IELTS band score of 6.5
- Duolingo English Test score of 120*
