Ph.D. student Ajay Karakoti, a UCF Presidential Fellowship recipient, won the Dorothy Hoffman Scholarship, the highest award for a graduate student from the AVS organization. He was selected for this award based on his pioneering work on nanoparticles for biomedical applications.
