Five MSE students participated in UCF’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program this year. Under the guidance of Professor Sudipta Seal and assistant professor Kaitlyn Crawford and Kausik Mukhopadhyay, students worked on a range of projects that can help the environment, advance medical technology and further the development of alternative plastics. They, along with students from Seal’s National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates, presented their work at the SURF Showcase in July.
