Dr. Holden Hyer, who has completed his PhD in December, 2020 will be moving to an exciting professional start at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) as a R&D scientist, starting February, 2021. Dr. Hyer has accrued over 20 journal papers and several more in preparation, mostly focused on laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing. His technical expertise, altruistic work-ethic, and goofy smiles will surely be missed. Best of luck, Holden!!!
