Dr. Le Zhou will be starting his professional career at Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) as a new tenure-track, assistant professor starting fall of 2020. Le came to UCF as a Ph.D. student in Fall of 2010, and earned his Ph.D. under Dr. Sohn’s supervision in spring of 2016. Since then, he worked for Sohn’s Research Group as a post-doc, and then a research faculty until now (e.g., pure-bred Knight). He possesses expertise in transmission electron microscopy, magneto-caloric shape-memory alloys, martensitic transformations, multicomponent diffusion, additive manufacturing and physical metallurgy. He has already accrued nearly 1000 citations (h=17) as a young scientist. Our best wishes for Le.
